Logo/Brand Design, Communications
The OCME Cares initiative is a comprehensive branding effort designed to promote and reinforce the agency’s core values—commitment, accountability, resilience, excellence, and service—by encouraging their adoption throughout the organization. To support this initiative, I designed a new logo that visually embodied these values and established a cohesive branded identity. The rollout included a multi-channel campaign supported by branded materials such as t-shirts, notebooks, pens, and related collateral. Each year, the initiative spotlights one core value. The inaugural year focused on Service, and to commemorate the first anniversary of OCME Cares, I designed a custom Challenge Coin distributed agency-wide by the Chief Medical Examiner during the State of the Agency address. The initiative remains ongoing, with 2026 again highlighting Service through a series of events recognizing employee dedication and reinforcing the agency’s mission.
Logo/Brand, Graphic Design; User Research
The Babies and Toddlers Task Force (BaT) is a specialized OCME initiative focused on training, investigation, and awareness related to abusive head trauma and shaken baby syndrome. Led by Leigh Bishop, a world-recognized expert in the field, the initiative required a clear and sensitive visual identity to support its mission. I developed the BaT logo and brand system to convey credibility, compassion, and authority. In addition, I collaborated with Ms. Bishop on the research and design of the 2025 NYC Babies and Toddlers Trauma Investigation Conference. I created a cohesive visual framework for all promotional materials and research documentation, aligning the branding across multiple supporting organizations. This unified approach ensured a consistent look, feel, and message that integrated the entire event and reinforced its educational and advocacy goals.
