I am a strong team collaborator with over 20 years of experience within cross–functional teams, incorporating Information Technology, Business, Client, Branding and Marketing, and Sales. My varied background includes fine art, print and web advertising, graphic design, brand strategy, strategic planning, web site and interactive financial application design. I have served a variety of roles including Creative Manager, Visual Designer, UI/UX Designer, and Information Architect.
One of the key qualities of being a good designer is the ability to listen. This requires being ale to slow things down, and actually schedule the time for listneing to what the client has to say. In addiiton, it is not just that main client, but a cross-section of the entire environment being engaged, to really understand the project. This is what enables clearer thinking and being able to ask the right questions, as well as guide oneself, and the team, through the user epxerience and visual design.
